Change to Tombstone Presentation Policy

A prospective Client or Business Consultant would formerly have been able to proceed to Capital Corp Merchant Banking’s website and then to the navigation bar of “Projects Recently Funded” tab.  There the user would be able to click the Tombstones presented to have a better view of the projects recently funded.

In recent weeks, Capital Corp Merchant Banking has had to make a change to this policy and has subsequently disabled the maximization ability of those Tombstones.  The reasoning behind this policy change was to better control those who would potentially seek to contact previous Clients.

As with any web page, the information was publicly available and previous Clients were contacted without Capital Corp being notified.  This has been of serious concern to us because not only where those groups approached without any notice (nor the courtesy of a professional introduction), but it was often done by persons that were unknown to Capital Corp Merchant Banking at the time.

Based on such, the expanded views of the tombstones have been removed but, as detailed on the website, are still presented for all to see in our offices.  This allows Capital Corp Merchant Banking to control who is able to view these as well as respect the protocol of credential exchange.
