Energy Project Financing

No matter the current status of the financial markets, one constant always seems to be the abundance of energy-related projects looking for funding.  The experience of Capital Corp Merchant Banking has been that no matter the landscape, there are always promoters searching for financing for energy projects.

For instance, when the price of oil is high, the amount of alternative energy projects is much more prevalent compared to when oil is low, in which many “standard” energy projects ranging from exploration to re-drilling seem to domanite the inquires received.

The aforementioned timing of the financial market sometimes gives the promoters the false sense that their energy project will be funded, sight unseen.  This is, however, not the case with Capital Corp Merchant Banking as certain elements must exist no matter the type of project, namely: highly experienced management, beneficial location, collateral, investment into the project and so on.
